Answer (1) : Fish and Fish products are a major component of the Trade for the United State. In the late few years, the import of sea food in to the country has increased tremendously. The years 2017-2018, the import of Fish products and sea products in to the country was the highest. The import of fishery products can be tracked by the recorded data when the products enter the market in the country. Out of the total imports, a certain amount of the fishery products goes in to direct consumption in to the local markets. The record of the local market consumption of these products are obtained from the local records maintained in the market entry dataset. Once the products enter the market for consumption, they are then distributed among the various large distributors who take up the responsibly of re-distributing the products to the different regions as per the demand from the various regions. A major chunk of the total fishery products imports in to the Country are taken for further processing. A variety of fish products are manufactured with the fish and its products. These manufactured products are then taken for sale in the local markets and furthermore for exports to the foreign countries.
