High school students are replicated by younger kids and many others in their community. As a role model these students must show others what good character is like, but instead they are damaging their lives by consuming drugs. Since few years the drug use among high school students has gone up again. Due to the advancement information technology and high powered internet on mobiles the exposure to drugs is much easier available. High school students are familiar with the IT and have few friends who are too good into hacking and getting to know things before the cyber police do so they are convinced that they are able to get away with using drugs. These drug addicts soon attract other students into doing the drugs because there is no policing and limits to the use of drugs. They play with over the counter drugs that are available and create their own drugs through IT in improper ways. The government and law enforcement bodies should intervene in order to protect these student’s future, drug tests must be enforced among all students ensuring a safe environment for students to learn successfully. Allowing random drug testing in high schools will restrict students from trying these harmful drugs. Eradication of drug use among high school students is vital because drugs prevents students from studying which leads to drop outs from high school. Students that become prey are excited by these dangerous drugs will spoil their lives forever, but if guided in the correct path they can be saved.

Unplanned drug checks in schools is proposed to restrain forbidden drug consumption, but it all comes down to same question: "Is the drug checks effective?" While few reports of effectiveness are contradictory, The Supreme Court have passed a verdict that schools should conduct surprise/sudden drug tests. Few studies show that drug testing can, in fact, help. The National Center for Education Evaluation declared that students who participated in extracurricular activities in schools that conducted drug testing had less substance use than compared to the students from schools without drug testing.
