Read the below article and respond to it? One metaphor I may use is, we dip into savings or a friend might be involved in a sick relationship or another might be in a healthy relationship. Now that's true cause you may have to dip into your savings a little to make sure you have enough in your checking account so you won't go into a negative status. Now being involved in a sick relationship meaning you may know someone whose relationship may be very unhealthy for them, it maybe toxic and they need to get out of that fast and in a hurry as to another friend maybe in a healthy relationship and things are going ok for them. We rely on metaphors to express ourselves by handling complex ideas by showing a simpler or more concrete of familiar things. Many metaphors originate in our impressions of our bodies. It is important because we need to be aware of how imprecise our thinking is and how the central role that poetic skills plays in our thought. A paragraph in the book says "Even the hardest of the sciences depend on a foundation of metaphors."
