Answer #1

Given:

P = 5.8 atm

V = 40.0 L

T = 37.0 oC

= (37.0+273) K

= 310 K

find number of moles using:

P * V = n*R*T

5.8 atm * 40 L = n * 0.08206 atm.L/mol.K * 310 K

n = 9.12 mol

Answer: 9.12 mol
