Answer #1

Answer:

1) z = 0.52,  \alpha=0.05

Right tailed test

P-Value = 1 - P(z < 0.52)

find P(z < 0.52) using normal z table

we get,

P(z < 0.52) = 0.6985

P-Value = 1 - 0.6985

P-Value = 0.3015

Since (P-Value = 0.3015) < (\alpha=0.05)

Reject Ho.

0.3015; Reject Ho.

2) Two tailed test,  \alpha=0.10

find critical z value using normal z table

we get,

-Z0 = -1.645, Z0 = 1.645, Z< -1.645, Z> 1.645
