(a) Closing Price for GATX = $44.23

Number of shares = 20000/44.23 = 452

(b) Dividend per share = $1.60

Total Dividend = Number of shares * Dividend per share = 452*1.60 = $723.20

(c) P/E ratio = 8.90

Market Price of share = $44.23

=> P/E = Market Price / Earning per share

=> Earning Per share = Market Price of share / P/E ratio = 44.23/8.90 = $4.97

(d) Net Change in Price = 0.03

Hence, Yesterdays closing price = Current Price - Change in price = 44.23 - 0.03 = $44.20
