Calculating covariance and correlation for two sets of test scores.
Basically, I'm given sample data for two sets of test scores. Each set has 17 scores. So, the table looks like:
SERIES A: Score1, Score2.......Score17
SERIES B: Score1, Score2.......Score17
How would I go about measuring covariance? I know I need an x variable and a y variable -- but I thought covariance measured the relationship between the variables. Would x be series A and y be series B?

please answer all question 9-11
Question 9 2 pts z scores are useful because they: o reduce the probability of Type I and Type Il errors, allow permit the transformation of raw scores into percentiles. o transform linear scores into nonlinear scores, convert nonlinear scores back into linear scores, and allow us to obtain comparisons between nonlinear and linear scores. Pelation to the mean of its underlying population allow comparisons to be made between stores from different distributions, and permit...

i have this project on statistics and I dont know how to go about it. i sm to pick a topic and it was going to be Age and dementia. please can someone help as i am so frustrated already. In some cases, the relationship between the two variables is a linear one. In this project, you will need to choose a pair of real-world variables, collect data on those variables, and describe the relationship between the variables. To complete...
A group of physics students collected data from a test of the projectile motion problem that was analyzed in a previous lab exercise (L5). In their test, the students varied the angle and initial velocity Vo at which the projectile was launched, and then measured the resulting time of flight (tright). Note that tright was the dependent variable, while and Vo were independent variables. The results are listed below. (degrees) Time of Flight (s) Initial Velocity V. (m/s) 15 20...
