Solution= Molecular weight of NaCl is 58.44 g/mol. This means that 1 mol of NaCl contain 58.44 g in 1litre of the solution. Now calculate for 0.15 M NaCl .

1000ml of 1M NaCl contains = 58.44 g

1000ml of 0.15 NaCl contains = 58.44/0.15 g

= 389.6 g

Therefore 389.6 g of solid crystal NaCl is added in 1L deionised water to make 0.15 M of NaCl in 1L.
