circumference of drum=2pi*.2

=1.256m

In one revolution it covers 1.256m

in 2.1m it covers

=2.1/1.256

=1.68 revolution

=1.68*2pi radian

=3.36pi radians

b)by energy conservation

3.5*10*2.1=1/2*3.5*v^2+1/2*.52*(v/.2)^2 (angular speed of drum=velocity of weight/radius of drum)

v=2.98m/s

c)3.5*10*2.1-14=1/2*3.5*v^2+1/2*.52*(v/.2)^2

v=2.69m/s
