Step 1: Explanation

We know,

E= hv where, h = planck's constant = 6.626 × 10-34 J-s

frequency (v) = C/λ

and C = 3 × 108 m/s =speed of light

so the equation becomes

or, E= hv

or,  λ = hc / E

(7) Step 2: Calculation of wavelength

Given, E = 6.043 10-24 J

by substituting the value in  the above equation

λ = hc / E = ( 6.626 × 10-34 J-s × 3 × 108 m/s ) /   6.043 × 10-24 J = 3.29 × 10-2 m

(8) Step 3: Identification electromagnetic spectrum region

the calculated wavelength lies in the microwaves region

[ because from the electromagnetic spectrum we know microwave region lies from 10-1 m to 10-3 m ]
