Answer #1

Communication refers to the process of transmitting ideas and information. The main goals of communications include (1) creating awareness, (2) projecting an image, (3) imparting knowledge, (4) effecting a sale, (5) stimulating a want or desire, and/or (6) shaping attitudes. Communication skill plays an important role for cooperative engagement, and conflict resolution. Effective communication is very important in sales to prevent any loss in the sales. An improved communication process and faster decision-making is helpful in eliminating delays and time lag. Poor communication may turn potential customers away from the goods and services. The main factors contributing to this problem include unclear messaging, damaged relationships, wasted time and resources, lack of team cohesion, higher turnover rates, low employee morale, and lost revenue. In an organisation the barriers and breakdowns in communication could be threatening productivity, customer loyalty, engagement and retention, profitability and more. Thus leads to low productivity, deadlines missed, and unaccomplished tasks.

To correct this issue, employees can be imparted product training before allowing them to interact with the partners and customers. Self-concept and especially self-esteem in a person are major factors in the way that they communicate. Self-esteem in an individual cause’s direct, dominating, straightforward, and assertive communication styles and also promotes active participation in communication. People who have high self-esteem tend to have better communication skills.
