Solution:

In West Virginia State University 156 students work at minimum wage rates.

From the Minimum wage hourly rates by state table, We get the minimum hourly rate for West Virginia (WV) which is $8.75.

It is also given that they work for 38 hours per week.

Total hours worked by all students in a week = 156 * 38 hours

   = 5928 hours.

We are asked to calculate the amount of pay students get for 2 weeks period.

So, Total hours worked by students for 2 weeks = 5928 *2 = 11856 hours.

Biweekly wages = 11856 hours * $8.75

Biweekly wages = $103,740.00
