Answer #1

Hi, Please find answer for the question 2.

The surgeon suspected possibilities of Malignant Hyperthermia considering familial history of the patient (Malignant Hyperthermia “mother died of an elevated temperature during surgery”).

General anesthesia causes sudden increase in body temperature and severe muscle contraction to the patients with malignant hyperthermia.

The above mentioned is the key reason for avoiding Forane (isofurane).

Question 3 will be answered in next slot.

Thanks.
