The crisis that I experienced in my life is the death of my father. It changed our lives entirely because we used be a happy family consisting of father, mother and a sister(elder). We lost him in a accident it is so traumatic we thought he will survive and recover but surgeries, medicines and money did not save him.
It changed our lives including mine and our entire family,we relocated to our paternal grandparents home and my uncle never married to raise us.It changed my whole routine and everything because when my dad is alive I don't have any responsibilities but now I have emotional responsibility of my mother. And i am improving myself to make my mother happy.I started interacting with my grandmother and my uncle building relationship with them.Until then I don't know that i can withstand the change or i can take responsibility but now am able to take any crisis in my life because nothing big can happen that makes me collapse because my fathers death is worse than anything.
Strategies that I used are I grieved for my father and accepted his death. And I am thanking the god because I didn't lost both my parents i have my mother.some people may lost all their family but I got my mom sister uncle, grandmother. It changed perceptive of life.My crisis strengthened me and it helped me to understand the meaning of life and sacrifices which one may make for their family (example is my uncle).Crisis in my life helped me and it make me realise nothing is permanent in one's life.
From this condition it may help me in clinical practice because I can provide care because I know the value of life and what it does to a family when one member of family is ill or he/she is no more.It will increase my resolve my strength and ambition to help saving and caring people. And how to provide emotional support to the patient and as well as their family.
