This was mainly for the electronic exchange, privacy and security of the health information. Keeping the client data confidential and secure the client would seek more care from the health care provider.

The technology also can be a privacy risk as this could be utilised in a negative way whereby patients privacy is breached by divulging into their data's. The technology would make sometime a data storage which can be passed to other people which involves the potential risks of patients health, as technology rises there would con's too were by patient privacy of health is transparent and very open. There are ways were by the technology impacts HIPPA:

# Patient data storage : the storage system varies and the trust should ensure we're it has to be stored either on the cloud based or on premise technology.

# Network security: the data saved can be transmitted through the Internet, mail or private cloud which may divulge patients information.

Thus maintaining the HIPPA seems overwhelming at first, but the proper training and documentation helps to have better compliance.
