Recommendation for smooth lay off in hospital .

1- focus on problem statement ,not on people = layoff will effect people so you have to communicate very openly and trying to send message for problem ..Problem can be financial ,,external ,exit the business in over a period so that employee can check other opportunity in market .

2- Involve trusted employee ~ Management should consult with trusted employee first before making any formal communication with larger organization. Trusted employee will help leadership to how to communicate and with what level .

3~ Measurable performance ~ To sustain in any business management should have good measurable performance system so that outdated skill should be communicated employee while review and told them clearly that he or she ready for improve performance or layoff can be happen .

4 ~ Exit plan for layoff ~ Once layoff announcement done . Organization should help on below point

A) Counseling with expert to cop up with situation.

B) Document formality .

C) Help for medical emergency in agreed time .
