Answer #1

The Coloradans End -of-life -options Act was passed after a greater controversy against the humanity and the God's decision to support and pass the bill in legislation.Nearly 65% of people apwere in favour of assisted death. Finally it was passed in 2016.

The main purpose of it to be passed are

  • To aide the dying patients peacefully in sleep to avoid the excruciating pain when they are alive
  • Support and the necessity of many Colaradans to pass the Act

The key points to get permitted for this are

  • The patient should be mentally sound, capable of making decision on own without any hindrance
  • The patient should be terminally ill and can survive only 6 months or less than that
  • Should be a major or adult to make the decision

The others are

  • The hospital's policy, mission
  • Opt in and opt out management
  • Management of liability and risks associated with it
  • Following the ethical standards
  • Proper notification by physician

Sue, is not eligible because Alzheimers is a chronic disease which can be managed effectively and the patient will not be in a sound mind to make decision due to altered cognition

A non terminal cancer patient are not eligible. To be eligible ot should be a terminal cancer where all options fails to comfort the patient, they should survive 6 months or less than that

A patient in comatose state if cannot be reversed back to consciousness (vegetative) they are eligible .Here the patient suffers the most physical pain which cannot be verbalized and it sies the eyes and feelings of the lived knee when they care for them.
