1. in this question , the patient is 80 yr old , she came for treatment and refuse one male nurse to give care. here the attitude of patient is very irritating to the health cares, but this may be due to the old age and her cultural background. and moreover she may belive in female nurse ,the treating nurse may be from differnt country with different cultures also.so that these old age peoples may not like them, they will give good care. patients this attitude will make problem in her treatment , if she is not co operative with the health cares , they may also dont try to give their good patient care. the caring nurses also feel bad if she dont allowing her to touch or care. but as a health care profeesional we must think on the side of patient and we will try to figure out why they are behaving like this, is it because of our problem , or due to the medical illness or due to old age and try to give good patient care even if the patients are not coperating.even after trying so much , patient is non coperative , the documents the details in patient medical records.

2. This male nurse can do something to impress her and to allow health care. while approaching the patient , the nurse can have a smily face , talk nicely and without scolding or anger , try to be neat and clean with wear good apron , try to use hand sanitizers before touching her , gently touch her shoulders and tell he we will take care of you or something patient want to hear, dont show your anger even if patient is scolding or shouting at you. agrre with patients comments, dont argument with her, try to go with other supportive teams , try to give some food items . self introduce before approaching and touching her,

3. factors he need to includes in his transcultural assessment are he must understant that her culture and the his culture are entairly different and it will be vrey difficulty to cope with some one strange with different culture.

he must try to understand what is her culture and if he feel different with his cultutre , try to adjust with her culture and dont critisize her culture like your culture is not good, your attitude is not good... . if he tries to say something regarding her culture , then she may start to bacame angry and not allow for health care.

try to give respects to her age and culture and even she is not allwing for health care, we should show our good face
