In England. the Purtians were the religious groups. they wanted to chance the Church of England & make the Church more pure by removing the ceremony of music, also did not want to separate from the Churchlike piligrims.Thus the group formed the NewEngland Company. The king gave character (a document that gives permission to do something & the permission to operate a colony) & made settlement along the Massachusetts Bay The first group of Puritans settlers was led by John Endecott & also started to begin settlement Salem, Massachusetts & changed the name of the company to Massachusetts Bay Company Another group with 1000 puritans & 15 ships came for settlement & John Winthrop became the governor of Puritan colony & started building small villages around the main town. of Boston The puritane were allowed to make their own laws & the central space in the village was a meeting point (house) were they settled the problems of the community .Puritans made mandatory that every child to read Bible & parents to teach, to read, & write, made laws that every village with 50 families to have a school & in the school to teach- How to write, read & do arithmetic , these school will be run by the womens in their homes , These schools were called Dame schools. The freedom of religion was not a law, but they came to America to practice their religion & did not allow settlers of the same religion who did not follow the way the Puritans likedThe key differences between New England & the colonies were the extension of commercial revolution of Modern England, Puritan
