Answer #1

This study determines the number of person capacity to benefit from evidence-based effective stroke services. 3419 persons surviving with stroke onset need core acute stroke services include diagnostic tests, prevention of recurrent stroke and venous thromboembolism, family support, assessment if disability and screening for rehabilitation. The diagnostic test required CT imaging of the brain n=3419. 3419 required CT imaging and Discrepancy(provision need) -2413. 3419 -2413 = 1006. only 29% of need met and 71% of need unmet.
