Explanation: If a double bond is attached to one alkyl group it is called mono substituted alkene, if a double bond is attached to two alkyl groups it is called disubstituted alkene, if a double bond is attached to three alkyl groups it is called tri substituted alkene and if a double bond is attached to four alkyl substituents it is called tetra substituted alkene.
