Answer: The patient should be informed about the expenses which are not going to be covered under the policies. The procedure or the surgery should be started after the consent taken from the patient.

All the expenses as well as Medicare coverage should be discussed with the patient because most of the time patients are unaware of many coverages. So, patient should be informed about it as well as should also inform about the importance of the surgery.
