Intervention

• Assess the pain level using pain scale
• Diversion of activities
• Provide comfort
• Administer analgesics

2.Risk for fluid volume deficit related to inflammatory process.

Intervention

• Assess the signs and symptoms of dehydration
• Asees the intake and out put
• Administer intravenous fluid as per doctors order
• Advice to drink more fluid

Positive outcome

Patient has no s/s of dehydration

Negative outcome

Patient has signs and symptoms of dehydration

Evaluation

Maintain normal fluid level

Heparin: It is administered IV or subcutaneous.

aPTT is activated partial thromboplastin time which characterizes coagulation. Heparin is anticoagulation. Normal range is 25-36 second.However it is 1.5- 2.5 higher than the pre treatment level.
