Explanation

A(g) + 3B(g) -------> 2C(g)

Stoichiometrically, 1mole of A reacts with 3moles of B

given moles of A = 2.00mol

given moles of B = 4.50mol

2.00moles of A require 6.00moles of B but available moles of B is 4.50mol

Therefore ,

Limiting reagent is B

stoichiometrically, 3moles of B gives 2moles of C

moles of C obtained by 4.50moles of B = (2/3)×4.50mol = 3mol
