For average acc^n, we take two points (v, t) co-ordinate and find average acc^n as average acceleration = v_2 - v_1/t_2 - t m/s^2 For segment A (20, 10), (30, 15) average acceleration = 30 - 20/15 - 10 = 10/5 = 2 m/s^2 For segment B (40, 30) (40, 40) a vector_average = 40 - 40/40 - 30 = 0 m/s^2 For segment C (80, 60) (40, 48) a_average = 80 - 40/60 - 48 = 40/12 = 3.33 m/s^2 So, for segment A a vector_avg. = 2.0 m/s^2 for segment B a vector_avg = 0 m/s^2 for segment C a vector_avg = 3.33 m/s^2
