Answer: Obesity has become one of the major problem and health concern issues specially in the children. The obesity leads to many other disease. Obesity is one of the major cause of development of other diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes as well as Hypertension. The children those who are obese are at high risk of developing these diseases.

The increase in the obesity is due to various reasons such as:

• Improper diet
• Excess intake of junk food
• Lack of physical activities

The methods of prevention of obesity in children are:

• Indulgence of physical activities such as playing outdoor games because at this age children should play outdoor games. But they sit inside home and watch television.
• Sufficient amount of nutrients should be eaten so as to have proper growth.
• Reducing the intake of the junk food.
• Rude the consumption of caffeinated beverages
• Have a healthy lifestyle.
