His partner is concerned that he will become addicted to the medication, so she argues with Mr. du le Berg, which causes more stress.

ANSWER
Mr.du le berg pain is a phantom limb pain and it coming from the part of the limb which already amputated.
It occurs due to rewiring of nerves in the brain and
Spinal cord when they not get proper signals from
the amputated extremity.
During this process brain send pain signals result in
experience pain on amputated area.
* His partner's concern can handled by
* Explanation given to the partner that opioids
are given for managing pain on amputated
area and it is for a short period of time so it
will not cause addiction in short period of time.
* The physician will terminate opioid usage of
Mr.berg by slowly reducing the dosage based
on his tolerance to pain.
