Answer #1

Ans) Dose ordered: A pharmacy technician is preparing a 0.75mg dosage.

Available concentration is 500mcg/1.5mL

Solution: 1 mg = 1000 mcg

So 0.75 mg = 750 mcg

500 mcg = 1.5 ml

750 mcg = x ml

x= 750 × 1.5/ 500 = 2.25 ml

So, 2.25 ml is to be administered for 0.75 mg dosage.
