Answer #1

ANSWER.

* Calculation of daily dose for a patient with body weight 165 pound.

            Ordered dose = 50mg/day/kg.

Weight of the patient = 165 pound

Convert pound to kg for calculation

                1 pound = 0.454 kg

        So

            Weight of the patient = 165 * 0.454

                                              = 74.9 kg.

         Daily dose for a patient weight 74.9 kg = 50 * 74.9

                                                                         = 3745 mg per day
