Answer: CHF is a condition which is caused by the situation when the heart unable to pump blood proficiently to meet the body's metabolic needs. It is important to monitor the respiratory as well as cardiac status because it may cause atrial fibrillation. The cardiac output should be monitored as this may also show present or pervious ischemia.
The respiratory status should be monitored as sometimes the fluid gets back to the lungs and causes breathing difficulties.
The nurse educate regarding the medication such as taking diuretics, reduce or avoid the consumption of salt. The education on medication is given to reduce and eliminate the risk of medical errors.
The lower heart rate should be immediately reported to the healthcare professionals. Edema should be noticed if any because deposition of fluid my cause kidney impairment.
