Mouth:

Due to absence of enzymes in the mouth , the digestion of proteins does not takes place in the mouth.

stomach :

Entry of protein in the stomach produces the hormone gastrin whic in turn produces hcl and pepsinogen.

The protein is converted into peptide in stomach.

Pancrease :

The pancreatic enzymes are secreted and sent into lumen of the small intestine .

The cells of lining of small intestine produces additional enzymes and breaks down the protein into amino acids which ate easily transported into the blood stream with the help of ATP.

The complete absorption of protein takes place in duodenum or proximal jenenum of small intestine.

Liver :

These amino acids are transported to the liverthrough hepaticportal vein.

This circulation is known as Entero hepatic circulation.

The liver regulates the amino acid levels in the blood . The liver transports the aminoacids to other organs .
