1.) According to the EIC tables: Chris and Sarah are married with three qualifying children and there AGI is $25,000 then Their EIC will be if filling jointly - $6,288 if filing separately - $5,090

2.) The amount of federal income tax with held from Sergio's gross wages for the week :

Using the percentage method table as Sergio is single with $2,400 per week wages and claims one witholding allowance between $1,796 and not more than $3,700 - the federal income tax amount would be $356.90 plus 28% i.e., $456.83
