• She does not have time to work out as much as recommended due to a demanding work schedule and her 2 kids’ activities
• She has never really worked out before and does not have confidence she can do it properly
• She is self-conscious of her weight
• She does not have anyone to exercise with

Based on these statements, identify strategies that you could use to help reduce the barriers to Physical activity (PA). Also identify the theories that are applied.

A 26-year-old female having difficulties to manage time for work out by going outside is a very understandable situation. Even though in the data it was not mention anything about the age of the children, maximum can be 5 or 6 years and the other one will 2 to 3 years younger to that. So, the two pregnancies and deliveries had an impact on her weight, and it was natural for a 26-year-old lady to reduce the same. So that two statements were giving a picture of normalising the things, but the work out at home she doesn’t have the confidence for the same. It looks like she had an external locus of control and she needs help for everything from outside. It may not be good for her, and she was she don’t have anyone to exercise with her, that shows the lack of support she had, or she was not able to find support she had. So, these kinds very much visible from these statements. Other things must be needed clarification and can be worked on a strength-based approach like utilizing the resources available for her in an adequate manner.
