3) The audience is important because without the audience you have no arguments, no questions and answer session, no compliments and reviews. you will not able to prove your point with no audience. Remember that you are trying to convince the audience of your beliefs thus why you need one. at the start the audience can be friendly, neutral or in unfriendly in nature. possible outcomes are basis on the reader and pushing them towards one or more sides.

4) A discourse community is a group of a people who share a set of discourses, understood as basic values and assumptions and in ways of communities about those goals. I believe that we all belong to some several discourse communities it would just depend upon the situation and what is our beliefs are. It establishes common ground having same beliefs and ideas in resources and groups.
