Answer #1

Solution :

\mu= 17.55

n = 30

This is the two tailed test .

The null and alternative hypothesis is ,

H0 :  \mu = 17.55

Ha : \mu   \neq 17.55

df =n-1 = 30-1 = 29

The significance level is α=0.05

and the critical value for a two-tailed test is tc= 2.045
