Why has health care lagged behind other industries in addressing human factors as they contribute to errors?

Health care though has a greater advancement in the patient care it has still lagged behind other industries while addressing human factors contributing to error.Some of the main reado for this are

• The psychological factor like stress,tension,target,multiple task ,busy life style contributes to many error
• The physical factors like age and physical stress , tiredness,ovrr work can cause error
• The others like poor communication, awareness on the medical treatment
• Lack of decision making skill by the staff at the right time
• Limitations in accessing the necessary things by the lower level staff
• Lack of guidance and timely training
• Shortage of staff

These are certain things which has to be addressed for the healthcare industries to take a lead position in the market when compared to the other industries.
