1, Power helps people to control their ability within the environment, it is a basic human need to fulfill their needs and living independent life.
Powerlessness makes self-dehumanization it will not provide control ability with the environment. these powerless people have fewer relationships with high power people and they think of themselves as a low human among others. it affects the person self -perception, human traits and makes negative thoughts and loneliness. powerlessness as a basic factor that influences to chronic illness. People who are suffering from chronic illness their needs of care will be more and they can not live an independent life. that time the people feel powerless with their personal factors when they can not cope up with their environmental needs. their dependent life makes them feel powerlessness among family and with others.
