Explanation

Complementary goods are used to gather.

Example - petrol and car

The Cross price elasticity is negative for the complement goods. So if the price of any good decreases, the quantity demand for another good will increases. And also the demand for that good is increase. Becouse there is a rule for demand that if price will decrease, quantity demand will increase.

To understand properly we will use the above example of petrol and car.

Here if the price of petrol will decrease, people will start to buying new car so it will results in increasing the quality of car demand and also the petrol demand will be increased.
