Net mortality rate (atrial fibrillation) = {[32 -12]/[651-12]} X 100

Net mortality rate (atrial fibrillation) = 1.8779

Net mortality rate (pneumonia) = {[59 -41]/[1294-41]} X 100

Net mortality rate (pneumonia) = 1.4365

Net mortality rate (aortic aneurism) = {[47 -19]/[846-19]} X 100

Net mortality rate (aortic aneurism) = 3.3857
