  • Birth defects due to deficiency of vitamins and minerals such as neural tube defects .

Infant mortality rate is the number of the deaths per thousands live birth less than one year.Infant morality rate tells that the health system of the particular region is not good includes many factors such as

  • Lack of education .
  • Lack of diet supplements
  • Poor sanitation
  • Poor diagnostic setup
  • Lack of awareness about the prenatal ,postnatal care .

It shows that healthcare sector is not fulfill their work as they need to do .
