Ethics in Action Elaine was selected by her boss at the insurance company she works at to lead a group presentation concerning profit and loss data. She holds her first meeting on a Wednesday with three team members: Sidon, Bailey, and Nick. She gives them each a responsibility to accomplish by the following Monday. When Monday arrives, Elaine is met with resistance, Sidon has not finished his task, complaining that he "can't work with the data because it is coded all wrong." Bailey and Nick appear to be arguing about the best way to present the data. Nick insults Bailey, saying, "She doesn't know what she is talking about!" Bailey tries to compromise with Nick, but can't seem to get a word in over his demands. Elaine is taken aback at this behavior from her team members and wonders how she will be able to present the information with her team in disarray. ?
