As patient is having bloody diarrhoea, severe stomach cramps and fever 104° and signs of dehydration,, all these signs and symptoms shows that patient May have salmonella or shigella infection and to confirm the diagnosis of these bacteria RN should order the collection of stool sample to culture it in laboratory and to find out the bacteria.
