Elderly adults need more attention like children because they are vulnerable in category and prone to fracture and easy to get any disease because of compromised immune system and also have decreased healing powers that why we will teach these kind of pt to prevent them.
1. Go outside in the proper light.
2. Go for morning walk after wearing proper outfits it will help to boost the energy and immunity.
3. Prevent from any toe or foot injury by wearing protective shoes and avoid walking on slippery surface to prevent from fall.
4 if pt have problems with memory then give them a cell phone or medicate bracelet to wear to help in the emergency and give a pocket diary by writing whole information regarding him.
5. Person with diabetic profile should always carry a chocolate and a medicate bracelet to wear to prevent from any misshapen.
6. If person have problems with walking then limited walking with assistance of any person or device.
7. Wear appropriate glasses if pt have poor vision.
8. Daily care of body parts and proper assessment to rule out any kind of injury or bruises, redness, & cyanosis for its early and effective treatment.
