Various leadership styles are-
1. Democratic Leadership- It is the most effective leadership styles, enables leaders to make decisions in board meetings and also allows lower-level employees to exercise authority. In a democratic leadership, leader asks for input and considers feedback from their team before making a decision and has a emphasis on employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.
2. Autocratic Leadership- It is quiet opposite to Democratic leadership, as leader neither asks for input nor considers feedback from their team. In this type of leadership styles, autocratic leaders considers himself as a boss and make decisions on their own without consulting anybody.
3. Transformational Leadership- In transformational leadership style, leader is committed to the objectives of the organisation and focuses on clear communication, goal-setting and employee motivation.
4. Strategic Leadership-It is one of the commonly effective leadership style. In this, strategic leaders has a strategic thinking that supports employees at once.
5. The Bureaucratic Leadership Style- In this style of leadership, bureaucratic leader considers the input shared by the employees but on the same time, the leader can reject the input if it conflicts with the policy and practices of the company. For a bureaucratic leader, the rules and a defined hierarchy are important.
6. Laissez-faire Leadership- It is one of the least effective leadership style, as under this, a leader empowers and trust the employees to let them do the work things and gives all authority to the employees.
