Imagine that you are going to have a hip or knee replacement and want to determine which hospital would be best suited for your needs. 3. Which hospital has fewer complications and deaths related to hip/knee replacement?
4. What are your chances of being readmitted to any of these hospitals after hip/knee surgery?
5. For hip/knee surgeries, the payments start the day you enter the hospital and continues for the next 90 days. Which hospital has the best value for dollars spent?
6. What category is most important to you as a patient? Which is more important to you, patient experience scores or the nine other quality measures? Why or why not?
