Question

For the following system made of three conducting rods, it is known that there is a constant magnetic field B perpendicular to the plane of the screen. The two perpendicular rods are held in place and cannot move, while the inclined rod (at 45 degree) moves in a constant velocity of v. At t=0, the moving rod is located at the intersection of the static rods. \lambda is the resistance per unit of length of the rods.

For the following values:

B=8.8 T, v=0.6 m/s , \lambda =6.3 \Omega /m What is the current in the rods after 7 seconds? Give a positive answer in ampere.
