Ans) In plants, animals, and some protists, the zygote will begin to divide by mitosis to produce a multicellular organism. The result of this process is an embryo.

- In human pregnancy, a developing fetus is considered as an embryo until the ninth week, fertilization age, or eleventh-week gestational age.

- George holds what is known among moral philosophers as the "equal moral status" view of the human embryo:

"The principle to which I subscribe is one that says that all human beings are equal, and ought not to be harmed or considered to be less than human on the basis of age or size or stage of development or condition.

So, a three to five day old embryo is deserving of moral respect and protection.
