The molecular formula of ethylene is C2H4. Each Carbon is sp2 hybridized that is there is mixing of one S orbital and two p orbitals. So the sigma bond formed between the carbon cabon will be overlap of sp2 sp2 atomic orbitals. So option C is correct.
