Genetics testing are most sensitive and to be maintained in high confidentiality and security. The American Disability Act ,HIPAA has enforced this and has restricted the documentation of genetic testing in medical records of patient. It is appropriate to document this information in the record if the patient is exhibiting any current genetic diseases. It strictly documents the predictive or carrier genetic testing results in the medical records of the patients .
