Answer: To live healthy is important. The medical assistant should instruct the patient regarding the risk of chronic disease. The increased or obesity increases the risk of chronic diseases. It is important to maintain healthy weight. At least 35 minutes of exercise can reduce the risk of overweight. Indulging in physical exercise not only reduce the risk of chronic diseases but also maintain blood pressure, healthy heart. Along with the exercise, healthy eating habits should be adopted. A healthy lifestyle can increase the fitness level and reduces the health disparities. Eating green vegetables, antioxidant rich foods reduces the risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease etc. The food serving should be in such a way that it can reduce the risk of diseases. Patient should be adviced to avoid alcohol consumption as well as quit smoking.
